i got a kind of mandela effect where i listened to the From the Basement version of this and it no longer sounds complete without this extended intro, this is immense

The answer is yes - there needed to be more videos like this when it was new, instead of everybody just treating it like they usually do a flanger; like it's just a noise making toy instead of the piece of proper musical equipment for creative music lovers that it is. NICE JOB (could have been a bit longer - lol).

When you turn the TE-2 off does it have trails? So if the feedback is set full you could play over the top with a clean signal?

Super interesting pedal , still to this day. Now, I mostly use it for synths.

I have two of these. Love the bridge assembly design. Vastly under-rated guitars due to the stupid design decision regarding the pickup selector. Not difficult to modify into brilliant, resonant, lightweight guitars. Can't fathom why Yamaha hasn't come out wth a version 2.0 with a toggle switch and a tone control.

What strings are you using? I just bought this guitar and I'm trying to figure out what strings would be best for it. Any recommendations?

I loved mine but gotta say this sound is achievable with a combo of other pedals. Obviously that’s not worth it in the physical world but if you have a Helix you can use some serious compression, tape saturation and a nice slow vibrato. As stated before you used it right. Never understood the demos that just turn the rate to max so it sounds unusable. Great job!

Sounds nice. The harmonics you play ring out real clear, and it’s very enhancing. Is that delay pedal an oil can delay emulation?

In most of the demos I've watched, the pedal seems to be a glitchy sound maker. But in this video, it sounds like a pretty device for ambient music. Should I get one if I want to use it for making drones and soundscapes?

I recently bought this guitar. It had the worst tuners ive seen on any guitar. I changed out the tuners to a modest set from Gotoh and put a set of Elixir Nanos on it and got a setup done. Its now one sweet playing and sounding machine.

Nice sounds. Why not keep it in stereo though?
